Our trademark registration process optimizes your chances of success so you can rule your online plain.

1: INFO & PAYMENT

You submit your proposed trademark, product, and other intake information with payment of $795. One of our specialists will contact you within one (1) business day of payment to schedule the first consultation.

2: FIRST CONSULTATION

In the first consultation, we will discuss your goals, proposed trademark, products, and the trademark clearance, application, and registration process.

3: SEARCH & STRATEGY

Our experts perform a comprehensive trademark search within two (2) business days of the initial consultation.  The search reveals the brand landscape which is then analyzed by our experts for potential obstacles and opportunities.

4: SECOND CONSULTATION

Our experts communicate the results and conclusions from the comprehensive trademark search. If your proposed mark may be difficult to protect, our experts provide you with options and strategies. We agree on the best strategy for moving forward. Any government filing fees (up to $275 per class) are estimated and advanced.

5: APPLICATION

Our filing strategy is implemented by our experts who carefully prepare and file the trademark application with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).

6: EXAMINATION

A USPTO trademark attorney is assigned to the application and examines it to determine if it meets legal requirements. Our process minimizes hassle and increases the odds of efficient and successful registration. However, trademark registration is a process and the USPTO may require work or additional fees during examination. As part of our flat-rate trademark application fee ($795), our experts respond to non-substantive issues (disclaimers, goods and services description changes). For more substantive issues (descriptiveness,confusion refusals, third-party opposition), our experts communicate with you and provide analysis, options, strategies, cost estimates, and response at competitive hourly or flat fee rates (as applicable).

7: REGISTRATION

Following successful examination, the trademark application registers and we deliver you a registration certificate.

*Flat fee includes: (a) an initial consultation of up to thirty (30) minutes; (b) one comprehensive U.S. federal, state and common law trademark search and report; (c) one opinion and recommendation based on the search results; (d) a follow-up consultation of up to thirty (30) minutes regarding search results and filing strategy; (e) preparation and filing of one trademark application (for up to three [3] classes); and (f) non-substantive office action response. Government fees of $275 per class are in addition to the above stated legal fees and due in advance of filing. In some cases, government fees may be less. Statement of use and/or extension attorney and USPTO fees (if applicable) are not included.
